September is here, and I wanted to share a quick update about this month's Learning collection.

The last few weeks have been unusually full around here. We've had a lot happening in our family, and I've also been dealing with a hand injury that has made spending long stretches of time designing more difficult than usual. As much as I wanted to have the new collection ready to welcome September, I finally had to admit that I needed a little more time.

It’s the end of August, and I'm getting ready to work on my monthly memory roundup. Before September begins, I like to spend a few minutes looking back at the moments that filled my month.

If you've been following along with this month's theme, you already know we're focusing on the rhythms and routines that shape our everyday lives. These are the things we do so often that we may not even think about documenting them, but they can tell us so much about what life looks like right now.

With only a few days left in August, I'm starting to think about my monthly roundup. Before we turn the page to September, I like to spend a little time gathering the moments I want to remember while they're still fresh. A little preparation now makes documenting the month much easier later.

As I think about my own life, I keep coming back to a common thread. I love traditions. I love revisiting favorite places. I've been creating monthly roundups since 2006 because I never want to lose those everyday memories.
