You may have been wondering where I would end my Color Stories series? Well, here we are! When I planned this all out at the beginning of the year (with my daughter’s help) I knew that I wanted to take a grand tour of colors and end with a subtle neutral pack. I’ve had so much fun with this series and you better believe I’ve got more exciting ideas ahead! For now, let’s celebrate the beauty of Natural Neutrals!

Managing scanned and digital photos can be a very overwhelming task! I’m always looking for helpful resources to find ways to get organized when it comes to photo management. This free video from Roots Tech 2021 has some really good information. It is a tad dry, but worth watching and the presenter has a charming British accent. The information on file naming, metadata, and tags is very useful so be sure to save this one!

It’s that time of year again for back to school and this one looks to be off to a rough start in many areas because of the Delta variant of Covid-19. I’m feeling grateful that I don’t have any kids in school this season. My son Alex will probably take an online class or two. My daughter Riley is trying to finish up her last few hours of massage therapist training (which has been quite difficult in this environment), but neither one of them is attending school in person. My heart goes out to parents and kids everywhere who are trying to navigate this difficult time!

My daughter was here for a visit and wanted to see what I had in my desk drawers. She was really excited when she saw my correspondence drawer and she encouraged me to share it here with all of my readers. Our July was an interesting mix of social visits (hooray!), watching our favorite shows, and several medical tests for me. I'm fine, but I seem to be a bit of a mystery to the doctors right now. I've had enlarged lymph nodes in my armpits for 5 months (started before I got the vaccine) and some concerning breast lumps, but everything has turned out normal so far. I've had 3 mammograms, 2 ultrasounds, and 1 biopsy. Then I had several more biopsies during my colonoscopy & endoscopy procedures. Doctor thought everything looked fine so it will be good to find out for sure.

It’s already the end of the month and that means it’s a great time to roundup your memories and document them before too much time passes. One of the greatest tricks we play on ourselves is thinking we will remember. We don't need to write it down, right? Does that even work for the grocery store? Don’t let yourself fall into that trap. Memories are important!

I don’t know about you, but I need a regular dose of laughter to keep me going in life.
